Phishing - Tips & Links

Tips to aviod Phishing:
Legitimate institutions will almost never ask for account information by e-mail. If you receive an e-mail asking for information or when doubt, type in the web address yourself or contact them by phone.
Watch for spelling errors, poor grammar and bad formatting. Frequently this is a sign the e-mail is not from who it seems to be.
Never send personal financial information by e-mail.
Keep your browser and other security software up to date.
Verify that the web address in your browser's address bar is correct.
Watch your bank, credit card and other financial accounts for suspicious activity and unauthorized charges.
